General Description:
The Sales Engineer (SE) will support all technical pre-sales activities for enterprise opportunities in the US and Mexico territories as well as provide post sales support to existing customers on an as needed basis.
The SE will provide daily remote and if necessary onsite support to the company’s customers and partners through in-depth training, troubleshooting, data gathering & analysis.
Requirements:
• 5 plus years of experience as a Sales Engineer
• Develop the technical decision makers within a sales cycle and win their trust to influence the technical specifications
• Ability to provide in-depth diagnosis and resolution of complex networking design and troubleshooting, IEEE 802.11 in particular.
• Ability to present effectively in front of large or small groups of people.
• Proven experience in supporting Networking/telecom, wireless, data communications, products.
• Ability to clearly document solution status and resolution.
• Ability to enhance current methods including developing solutions for improving performance, diagnosis and troubleshooting.
• Advanced knowledge of Networking and Wifi technologies including 802.11 a,b,g & n technologies an advantage.
• Proven experience as an SE in Mexico an advantage
• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and work under time pressures; highly organized and detail oriented
• Strong and effective inter-personal and communication skills; ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of peers, customers and others.
• Team player, self motivated and a strong desire to learn new technologies.
• Ability to travel extensively (up to 70% of the time).
• Fluent in Spanish
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.
