Location: Mexico

Position: This Major Account Manager position will report to the Director of Sales Latin America. This is a full-time position as an Extricom employee. Key responsibilities and accountabilities will include:

  • Drive multiple enterprise-scale wireless sales opportunities, focusing on major accounts from $50K up to $1M.
  • Identify sales opportunities for the enterprise market for Mexico.
  • Manage complete end-customer sales cycle from deal identification to project negotiation.
  • Build and manage the business relationships with major customer accounts.
    Lead revenue to new accounts based on high level of market understanding, sales opportunities for the company's products.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage a large territory, including demand generation, forecasting, quota attainment, sales presentations, and short-term, mid-term, and long-term opportunity management is essential.
  • Solution selling and business case development skills desired. Must have the ability to deliver business value to the account and build on customer relationships.
  • Strong technical and business knowledge with complementary skills to understand the customer's business drivers essential.

Functional Skills and Job Qualifications:

  • At least 10 years experience selling technology products/systems to all businesses sizes, preferably through channels. Background in selling wireless LAN products an advantage.
  • Excellent written, communication & presentation skills.
  • Proven experience in driving growth of new sales.
  • Experience conducting web-based sales demonstrations.
  • Strong interpersonal skills: team player with strong work ethic and good business sense.
  • Ability to function in a fast-paced startup environment as a member of a highly experienced technical team.
  • Self-motivated, high-performing, passionate, and driven to make the sale-whatever it takes; pursue prospects aggressively, and you know how to qualify, develop, and close new business.
  • Results-driven with strong follow-up skills.
  • BS in Business Administration, or equivalent education and relevant experience required.
  • Background in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent technological experience - advantage.
  • Able to travel extensively within the region.

Sales Engineer #LA604

Location: Mexico

Position: Sales Engineer reporting to Director of Sales Latin America. Responsible for sales support to Extricom Latin America Sales team for enterprise opportunities in Mexico. Responsibilities will also include providing Level 2 support to Extricom's customer base. In addition, will be tasked with:

  • In-depth diagnosis and resolution of complex 802.11 wireless network issues.
  • Provide customers with on-site, phone, and email support.
  • Troubleshoot problems with RADIUS servers and wireless clients.
  • Work closely with the Sales department to escalate issues.
  • Write knowledge base solutions to be used by colleagues and customers.
  • On-call duty during work hours to cover 24 x 7 challenges.
  • Provide technical trainings to customers and partners

Functional Skills and Job Qualifications:

  • At least 5 years of proven experience as a Pre/Post Sales Engineer providing Level 2 support for a global company in the Networking/Wireless arena.
  • Proven experience with 802.11, 802.1x, or RADIUS servers an advantage.
  • Capable of operating in a High Touch Direct Sale environment
  • Knowledge and experience with networking and wireless products & systems a plus
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a strong sense of customer commitment.
  • Extensive experience with debugging tools and methodologies.
  • Experience in presenting technical issues to customers and training clients.
  • Familiar with working in a start-up environment.
  • Clear and effective verbal/written communication skills, thorough troubleshooting abilities, self-motivation, and a strong desire to learn new technologies.
  • Strong interpersonal skills; team player with strong work ethic and good business sense.
