Making Infrastructure Count

Education is the engine that drives economic competitiveness and growth. As a result, improving the education system's technological infrastructure is one of the top items in the US Economic Stimulus bill and other economic stimulus measures.

Wireless LAN (WLAN) is a cost-effective and simple way to deploy network infrastructure so students and faculty have access anywhere on campus. Extricom produces innovative WLAN solutions with a proven track record in challenging Education environments, and we are proud to offer the 2009 Education Technology Stimulus Initiative (ETSI).

What ETSI Means for You

To help you maximize the cost-effectiveness of your investments in IT infrastructure, from now through June 30, 2009, Extricom will provide educational institutions with matching stimulus funds of up to 10% on any purchase and installation of Extricom WLAN equipment through ETSI.

A total pool of $1,000,000 is available to any qualifying institution, and the ETSI funds will be allocated on a "first come, first served" basis. The application process is simple and straightforward, and Extricom is listed on the multi-state PEPPM contract for easy procurement.

Who Qualifies?

All educational institutions, including state, federal or private universities or colleges and private, local or state K-12 schools located in the United States or Canada can qualify for ETSI. Eligible institutions must possess an immediate need to implement a WLAN as part of their IT infrastructure.

"We notice the Extricom difference when 40 students in a classroom turn on their laptops at the same time. That start up capacity has been a big headache with wireless, but the Extricom system handles any number of simultaneous users with no issues."
