Extricom was founded in mid-2002 and operated as a strategic research and development entity until early 2004. In 2004, the company began commercializing its deep patent portfolio (currently at 18 filed patents) into the enterprise WLAN offering that was first released in May 2005. Global sales and marketing kicked off toward the end of 2005. In just one year (2006), Extricom reached multi-million dollar revenues, won a set of awards, and built a distribution channel that now spans the Americas, Europe, and Japan. We operate from principal offices in New York, London and Tokyo.
